1.5. HF Trading Trust is required to collect, use and disclose your personal information to source and provide the products and services requested by you or on your behalf.
1.6. We may use and disclose your personal information for the purposes for which it was collected, or for a related or ancillary purpose such as any one or more of the following purposes:

1.6.1. Identification of fraud or error;
1.6.2. Regulatory reporting and compliance;
1.6.3. Developing, improving and marketing our products and services;
1.6.4. Servicing our relationship with you by, among other things, providing updates on promotions and services we think may interest you;
1.6.5. Involving you in market research gauging customer satisfaction and seeking feedback regarding our relationship with you;
1.6.6. Internal accounting and administration.

1.7. If you do not provide us with all or part of the personal information we require, it may prevent us from carrying out the things we have stated in clause 4.2.
1.8. If you receive promotional material you may choose to ‘opt out’ of receiving this information, just let us know.

Do we disclose your personal information?

1.9. We will not sell your personal information without your consent, unless we sell our business or website.
We may choose to disclose your personal information to our contractors, our bank/payment gateway provider, our agents, our related entities, government authorities, law enforcement and any other party who may assist us in providing products and services to you, or in promoting or marketing our services to you, or any party who purchases or seeks to purchase our business (or any part of it including a website).
1.10. HF Trading Trust is required to collect, use and disclose your personal information to source and provide the products and services requested by you or on your behalf.

2. Personal Information

2.1. Unless you tell us not to, we may disclose your personal information to the following types of organisations:

2.1.1. Banks and other financial institutions;
2.1.2. Mortgage insurers and valuers (LMIs);

We may exchange personal and creditinformation with the LMIs listed below. The LMIs may exchange yourpersonal and credit information with third parties including the CRBs listedbelow, and the other entities that we can exchange information with.The LMIs hold, use and disclose your personal information and creditinformation for the purposes of assessing whether to provide insurance tous, including to assess the risk of you defaulting or the risk of a guarantorbeing unable to meet their liability, managing the insurance, and verifyingpersonal information provided by us or any purpose under the insurancecontract. If you don’t provide personal information to the credit provider, itwill not be possible for the LMIs to process the credit provider’s requestfor LMI.

2.1.3. Related corporations;
Other organisations which assist us (such as lawyers, accountants, financial planners);
2.1.4. Organisations with whom we have alliances and arrangements and any agents used by us in administering such an alliance or arrangement; and
2.1.5. Any other organisation that may wish to, or has acquired, an interest in your loan, or in our financial business.
2.1.6. Consumer and commercial credit information
We may exchange your commercial and consumer credit information with entities listed below to assess an application for consumer or commercial credit and manage that credit. In particular, we can obtain credit information about you from a credit reporting body providing both consumer and commercial credit information.
2.1.7. Exchange information with credit providers
We may exchange your personal and credit information with other credit providers for the purposes of assessing your creditworthiness, credit standing, and credit history or credit capacity.
2.1.8. Exchange information with guarantors
We and the lenders mortgage insurers listed below may exchange your personal and credit information with any person who proposes to guarantee or has guaranteed repayment of any credit provided to you.

2.2. By signing this document, you agree that we may collect and use your personal information as specified above.
2.3. By signing this document you agree to its terms. It forms a legal contract between us.
If you have any questions, ask before you sign.
2.4. Other than the above, we will not disclose your personal information without your consent unless disclosure is either necessary to prevent a threat to life or health, authorised or required by law, reasonably necessary to enforce the law or necessary to investigate a suspected unlawful activity. Accordingly we may choose to disclose your personal information to law enforcement and government authorities at our discretion.

How can you access information and ensure its accuracy?

2.10. When you provide us (or other third parties) with personal information, we assume that it is correct unless you tell us otherwise.
2.11. Unless we know that personal information is incorrect, we cannot correct it. You can assist us, by telling us when the information we hold has changed and is no longer accurate.
2.12. If you wish to access the personal information we hold about you, you can do so by making a request to us.

Changes to our Policy

From time to time it may be necessary for us to review and revise this Policy. We reserve the right to change our Policy at any time, should this occur the amendment would be posted on our website.
